To Plan a periodical Counseling Seminar on careers for students of both Junior and Senior classes.
To set up periodical counseling classes on drug abuse and social vices.
To offer free counseling sessions for members in higher institutions on their area of needs.
To offer free Career counseling on employment for members currently in the job market.
Stakeholder/Contact Comittee
To make sure all sets are operating according to the constitution and set rules.
To help the mobilization of a set not yet in existence.
To identify stakeholders, and dignitaries in different sets that can help the association.
Identity professionals in the different fields for the association needs.Help in areas of unemployment of members, by having names and professions to recommend to members who can help.
To source for companies looking for professionals to employ who can meet the needs of our members.
Strategy Committee
The committee’s role is primarily advisory, and they are;
To provide futuristic insight, information, and advice to the association
To recommend plans and policies for the running of the Association.
To critically investigate projects that can be performed by sets, centrally, and making recommendations of such to the executive.
To help the Association make the most of well-informed decisions.
The Finance Committee
The Finance Committee shall consist of the Vice Chairman (for State/City or Class/Set Chapter) who shall be the committee chairperson; the treasurer; the Financial Secretary and any two (2) other members of the association.
The Finance Committee shall be responsible for making a budget proposal for presentation to the Executive Committee.
The Finance Committee shall recommend to the association any viable means of generating revenue for the association.
The Finance Committee shall monitor the income and expenditure of the association and make necessary observations/recommendations to the EXCO.
IGS In Diasporas
The committee shall form an IGS diasporas forum and provide leadership where:
Members can connect all over the world.
Members can share a wealth of opportunities in areas that can benefit each other- career, profession, business, etc.
Members can support each other where there are issues relating to immigration or documentation.
Members can relate or give updates on the changes in laws and regulations governing different countries.
New members (just newly migrated members) can get readily advice and the right information.
Members living in the same geo-location can support each other in any social function/occasion.
Members can contribute ideas or suggestions, and provide support to the general association in any form – especially projects in Nigeria.
Members can be encouraged to attend IGS events in Nigeria whenever they coincide with their vacations or make a planned trip.
